Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Market Operations, the Account Manger will work with key video advertisers to service and grow our Adap.tv Marketplace partners. Candidates must have strong working knowledge of the account management process and practices within online advertising and media industry with online video publisher knowledge strongly preferred. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- * Implementing and managing Advertiser setup in Marketplace, to include payment profile completion, buyer requirements, site approvals, optimization (top of chain, freq capping, geo targeting etc.)
- * Selling advertisers on deeper relationships, including RTB, self-service login, more buys, etc.
- * Reach out to advertisers to ask for more ad inventory as coordinated by Sales team.
- * Manage key advertiser publisher accounts, optimize and prioritize revenue opportunity for buyers by introducing new sellers, campaigns and unblocking publishers or placements.
- * Achieving quarterly targets around revenue, campaign delivery, optimization and repeat buys.
Requirements:
- * 2-3 years of Online Media (as buyer) or Ad network account manager experience.
- * Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with good knowledge of cookies, web analytics and statistical analysis.
- * Experience with a variety of advertising categories and understanding of what inventory works for what advertisers, at what prices.
- * Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- * Proficient in Microsoft office suite with Excel and Access required
- * Highly organized, with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a team oriented collaborative fashion.
- * Great communication and interpersonal skills, solid relationship builder.
- * Self-starter capable of flourishing in startup and/or un-structured environments.
- * Energy and passion for growing an online video advertising business.
- * BA/BS Degree in Business/Economics/Computer science desirable.
The ideal candidate will be a self-driven creative thinker, who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and get the job done in a fast-paced growth environment with 2-3 years prior media buyer/account management experience. You must have relevant experience in online advertising and have a solid track record and strong relationships working with advertisers (video publishers preferred).
